2025年7月9日（水）ならびに10日（木）、国立科学博物館講堂および弊社アンチドーピングラボラトリーにおいて「2nd Asia Association of Anti-Doping Scientist (AAADS) Workshop」を開催しました。

日本ドーピング分析科学会のご支援を受け、アジア地域のWADA認定ドーピング分析機関の科学者・品質管理者・ラボ長らが一堂に会し、品質管理や研究開発の最新動向を共有・議論し、域内アンチ・ドーピング分析体制の強化を図りました。

中国（北京・上海）、韓国（ソウル）、タイ（バンコク）、インド（ニューデリー）、カタール（ドーハ）、カザフスタン（アルマトイ）から計13名の参加者を迎え、品質評価方法 ・AIベースの結果管理システム紹介 ・新規ステロイド代謝研究 ・乾燥血液スポット（DBS）分析法など多彩なセッションを実施し、活発な意見交換を行いました。

今後も、弊社は日本唯一のWADA認定ドーピング検体分析機関として、国内外との連携を強化し、アンチ・ドーピング活動の推進およびスポーツの健全な発展に貢献してまいります。

＊AAADS（Asia Association of Anti-Doping Scientist）について
2023年10月、韓国ソウルラボ、中国北京ラボ、東京ラボ（弊社）の三者で設立覚書を締結。WADA要求事項への対応、共同研究、大規模競技大会時の人的・技術的相互支援を通じ、アジア地域のアンチ・ドーピング分析体制強化を図っています。

From Wednesday, July 9 to Thursday, July 10, 2025, the “2nd Asia Association of Anti-Doping Scientists (AAADS) Workshop” was held at the National Museum of Nature and Science Auditorium and our Anti-Doping Laboratory.
Supported by the Japan Society of Drug Analysis Science, this event brought together scientists, quality managers, and laboratory directors from WADA-accredited anti-doping laboratories in the Asia region.
The primary goal was to share and discuss the latest trends in quality management and research & development, and to strengthen the anti-doping framework in the region.

A total of 13 participants attended from China (Beijing and Shanghai), Korea (Seoul), Thailand (Bangkok), India (New Delhi), Qatar (Doha), and Kazakhstan (Almaty).
The program featured a variety of sessions, including quality assessment methods, an introduction to AI-based result management systems, new steroid metabolism research, and dried blood spot (DBS) analysis methods.
Lively discussions and active exchanges of opinions took place throughout the workshop.

As the only WADA-accredited anti-doping laboratories in Japan, we will continue to strengthen cooperation both domestically and internationally, contribute to the advancement of anti-doping activities, and support the sound development of sports.

*) About AAADS (Asia Association of Anti-Doping Scientists)
In October 2023, the Seoul Lab (Korea), Beijing Lab (China), and Tokyo Lab (our company) signed a memorandum of understanding to establish AAADS.
The association aims to strengthen the anti-doping analytical framework in Asia by addressing WADA requirements, conducting joint research, and providing mutual human and technical support during major sporting events.
